Polish winter school holidays 2027 — dates by region
According to the 2026/2027 school-year calendar published by the Polish Ministry of Education, the 2027 winter holidays take place in three rounds:
| Dates | Regions (voivodeships) |
|---|---|
| 18–31 January 2027 | Lower Silesia, Łódź, Opole, Subcarpathia, Podlaskie, Silesia |
| 1–14 February 2027 | Lublin, Masovia, Pomerania, Świętokrzyskie |
| 15–28 February 2027 | Kuyavia-Pomerania, Lubusz, Lesser Poland, Warmia-Masuria, Greater Poland, West Pomerania |

Nowa Osada — the slope „on your doorstep”, ideal for learning
Nowa Osada is the ski area closest to Wiślańska Dolina — about 750 metres from the cottages. The slope is considered family-friendly, with runs for beginner and intermediate skiers, and instructors on site teach children. According to the resort’s descriptions the runs have snowmaking and floodlights, so in good conditions you can ski after dark too.
For parents it’s a huge convenience: the kids can ski in the morning, come back to the cottage for lunch and a nap, and head out again in the afternoon — with no hunting for parking and no all-day „camping” at the base.
Klepki, Sarajewo and Cieńków — Malinka in a few minutes
A few minutes’ drive from the cottages are the ski areas around Malinka. Klepki and Sarajewo are a good alternative when Nowa Osada is busy, while Cieńków offers longer runs and views of the Silesian Beskids — a good choice for older kids and parents who want to stretch their legs after learning on a gentler slope.
Soszów and Stożek — for a full-day trip
The ski areas on Soszów and below Stożek are on the other side of Wisła, about 20–25 minutes’ drive from the cottages. Plan a separate day for them — a nice change after a few days on the slopes near the cottage.
Wispass — one ski pass for many slopes
The Wisła Skipass (Wispass) is a shared ticket system for ski areas in and around Wisła. In the 2025/2026 season it covered, among others, these slopes:Cieńków, Klepki, Nowa Osada, Pasieki, Sarajewo, Siglany, Soszów, Stok i Stożekin Wisła, as well as Poniwiec in Ustroń and Złoty Groń in Istebna. So on one trip you can switch slopes without buying separate tickets.
Important:pass prices, the list of ski areas and opening hours change every season, and whether the slopes open depends on snow and weather. Check current information on the ski area’s or Wispass website before you travel.
